This year, Valentine’s Day in 2025 falls on a Friday, which means that it is a perfect time for a little getaway! However, for the people who have yet to plan anything or who have had your plans fail to go through, here are some last-minute backup ideas that you can consider this Valentine’s Day, or the immediate weekend after.

Cook Together – You can start by grocery shopping and then cooking something together. It does not have to be an elaborate, fancy dish if both of you are not great cooks. Even baking or whipping up something simple like a dessert together can be fun! Spending time with each other and slowing down is sometimes the greatest gift of all.

Movie or Netflix Night – A movie or Netflix night at home can be a cozy, intimate, and affordable Valentine’s Day idea, perfect for couples who want to spend quality time together without the hassle of going out. You can make the night a little more special and festive by adding some decorations such as fairy lights, heart-shaped balloons, or even rose petals.
